3.4. RECORDS

3.4.1. PLANS
A plan of the emergency wayfinding guidance installation showing location of P.L. materials and component products should be provided on completion and retained on the premises. Such a plan should be regularly updated with subsequent changes and modifications to the system.

3.4.2. LOG BOOK
A log book should be provided for the recording of routine examination, tests, defects and alterations.

3.4.3. INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
A manual, describing routine inspection and maintenance schedules and check lists, should be provided.

3.4.4. MEASUREMENT OF ACTIVATING ILLUMINANCE
Recommendations on the measurement of activating illuminance and resulting luminance are given in Section 6.6.
